From experience to a published view
The point is not to react faster. It is to understand better.
A thought can begin anywhere. The discipline is in what happens before it becomes a conclusion.
- 01Experience
Notice what does not quite add up.
A project, journey, conversation, success or contradiction creates the first question.
- 02Context
Follow the system around it.
Look at people, history, incentives, markets, institutions, land and infrastructure — not only the visible event.
- 03Evidence
Pressure-test the first answer.
Compare what experience suggests with data, trade-offs and credible competing explanations.
- 04View
Publish clearly, then remain revisable.
State the conclusion I can defend now and leave the door open for stronger evidence later.
